La Central Digital's Positioning within the Digital Audiovisual Market
 

The dinamization experienced by the digital content market during the last year has favoured the diversification of the access modalities to audiovisual contents ( Web, DSL TV, telephony, etc... ), and therefore the increase of the possibilities to generate new audiovisual products and services from La Central Digital.

As a consequence, La Central Digital has multiplied its audiovisual services by means of agreements with the 4 major communications operators in Spain ( Telefónica, France Telecom, Deutsche Telecom and Jazztel ), as well as with several bodies and media groups such as Instituto Cervantes, Cine.com, and Marca, and it is presently in negotiations with ONO, iTunes Video and Pixbox Terra, among others.

It is worth mentioning that the audiovisual services of La Central Digital have gone beyond the Net as its initial market to fully enter the TV, IP-Video on Demand, and Cell Phone Video models, recently launched by the communications operators. In order to do that, La Central Digital has established strategic agreements with groups such as Telefónica or France Telecom.

New products have been created for such new modalities, such as thematic channels for DSL TV, and première collections for Video on Demand through DSL TV and Cell Phone Video.

All the above has not been an obstacle for our positioning on the Net, as during the last year we have been able to place our offer for legitimate cinema consumption on some strongly positioned Internet portals such as ya.com, orange.es, jazztelia.com, cine.com, Cervantes, Marca Digital, and some others which will join during the next few months. A special remark goes for the feature film "Catarsis", whose simultaneous world première in all Internet video clubs created a great media impact, causing much debate about the future of cinema and obtaining a splendid response from internauts.
